Lose it 2% at a time, losing 5 or 3 pounds is a good achievement. Now, you have success, momentum & a new goal.
Weight daily & on two spike ups, check what went wrong & fix it. Repeat. To check what went wrong you will need a journal\log of food, drink, sleep, etc.
Eating well is best way to reduce weight. Reduce 1-2 things during each of these 2 percent, for me, it was late night dessert.
Do walk & exercise for additional boost & progress check.
Do note, it is a big project in one’s life & needs close checks, until the habit sets in, maybe in 3 months. If there are other projects on, they will impact the success.
